Sunday School Opportunities

YOUNG ADULT CLASS Meets
Meets in the Fellowship Hall Immediately after the 10 a.m. service
On January 2nd this class will be starting a focused study/deeper dive into the book of 1 John. Katie Rimer, Matt West, and Brooke Bowman are co-teaching. They welcome new members to the class at any time.

Wesley Sunday School Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in the new Multipurpose Room
The Wesley Sunday School Class is led by Larry McCune. Their focus is inspirational bible studies. They are using the quarterly Adult Bible Studies prepared by very gifted and knowledgeable authors. The class has just completed the wonderful stories of Advent. In January they will examine the Spiritual Practice of singing from Exodus to Revelation. In February they will explore ways to participate in God’s work in our world. Study materials are provided. They welcome new members at any time.

TheDASH
Meets at 9 a.m. in front of the Fellowship Hall
In Galatians 5:22-23 Paul lists nine specific behaviors -- The Fruit of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control – that are the result of the work of the Holy Spirit in a Christian’s life. This class is going through each one, searching to find what the scriptures say about these behaviors. The class is currently discussing JOY. They welcome new attendees. This class is led by Linda Donnell.

Children/Youth Classes
Meet during the 11 a.m. time in the Education Building.
Crystal Adams, Youth Director, leads these classes.
Both classes will be continuing their curriculum after the Advent season on the life of Jesus. They will begin a new booklet in the youth class, and the children will have activities and songs included in their lessons. Each class will have new pictures included in their curriculum to match Jesus' life and mission. There is still a need for two people in each classroom to be in compliance with safe sanctuaries. The second person will just be there for staffing and support and will not have to teach. Sign-up is on Crystal's office door or in the narthex.

Please prayerfully consider joining one of these classes, each offering a different format and opportunity for growth in your faith and knowledge in your spiritual journey.
