Girl Scouts

West End United Methodist Church is proud to sponsor five Girl Scout troops that serve girls from Kindergarten through high school, including two newly forming troops that will serve our very youngest scouts, those in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.

On Girl Scout Sunday, March 13th, we were very pleased to have the troop participate in our church service: they did a wonderful job of greeting, sharing, and wishing well to the congregation.

Girl Scout Troop 893

IMG_6050 (1)Girl Scout Troop 893 has been busy!

With cookie season wrapping up, our girls have had six successful booths, but more than that, four of our girls have earned the Journey Summit Award which means they have successfully complete all three Journey badges for Juniors. This takes a lot of time and effort, so next time you see Aniyah, Hope, Macy or Nora, offer them a hearty congratulations.

We are almost finished with Girl Scouts for the season and in the Fall, our girls will be leveling up to Cadettes. Oh what an exciting time to be a Girl Scout!
